The festival program consists of almost 80 different events organized by the ISHF 2022 partners in different locations around the Helsinki capital area. The main locations of the festival are Aalto University Undergraduate Centre, Helsinki Central Library Oodi, Helsinki City Hall, National Museum, Little Parliament and Meeting Park Kamppi.

In addition to the main locations, there are several other locations where events are held. You can find information regarding other locations from the event descriptions in the festival program.

Aalto University Undergraduate Centre

Address: Otakaari 1, 02150 Espoo

Arrival: Aalto University Undergraduate Centre is located in Otaniemi, Espoo, about 10 kilometres from the centre of Helsinki from where it can be reached directly by metro and bus. It has also good public transport connections from other parts of Espoo and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. When you get off the metro, take the exit “Otaniementie”.

Entrance: Please see the map of the campus area. In the map the Aalto University Undergratuate Centre is building number 1, next to the metro station. The entrance to the building is entrance M. Please note that the entrance is not the main entrance of the building.

Helsinki Central Library Oodi

Address: Töölönlahdenkatu 4, 00100 Helsinki

Arrival: Helsinki Central Library Oodi is located right in the city center next to the central railway station, only 10-15 minutes walking distance from the National Museum and Kamppi shopping Centre.  

Entrance: The building has three entrance doors, which can all be used. The nearest door to Maijansali and Kino Regina is the door on the long side of the building (facing the park area).

Helsinki City Hall

Address: Pohjoisesplanadi 11–13, 00170 Helsinki

Arrival: Helsinki City Hall is located right in the city center, just a 10-minute walk from the central railway station.

Entrance: Entrance to the lobby and Event square is from the main entrance of the City Hall facing the Market Square by the sea.

National Museum

Address: Mannerheimintie 34, 00100 Helsinki

Arrival: National Museum is located right in the city centre, just a 10-minute walk from the central railway station.  

Entrance: The entrance to the Auditorium and Ateljee is entrance A2 (under the bear statue), not the main entrance to the museum.

Little Parliament

Address: Arkadiankatu 3, 00100 Helsinki

Arrival: Little Parliament is located right in the city center, just a 10-minute walk from the central railway station.

Entrance: All visitors are required to provide proof of identity at the security checkpoint. Please arrive 15 minutes before the event, at the latest, for the security check.

Meeting Park Kamppi

Address: Salomonkatu 5 C, 00100 Helsinki

Arrival: Meeting Park Kamppi is located right in the city center, just a 10-minute walk from the central railway station. Metro and central bus station are located just in front in the Kamppi shopping center. Trams are located in less than 100-200 m away.

Entrance: Street level entrance. Located in the Original Sokos Hotel Presidentti building next to Narinkkatori (plaza) and KAMPPI shopping center. The entrance is at street level next to the Aussibar.
