Target group:
Anyone interested in youth housing, NGO cooperation, support & services for young people, the history & best practices of NAL (The  Finnish Youth Housing Association).

Event description:
The Finnish Youth Housing Association NAL celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021 and wants to share their story and the ways they have worked to better the conditions of young people who are taking their first steps into independent living. In this seminar we look back on NAL's work on improving the living conditions, services, support and the availability of affordable housing for young people in Finland. 

During the seminar NAL presents a unique model that comprises of local youth housing NGOs that work with youth in their area & rent youth apartments, an umbrella organization (NAL) that focuses on advocacy, policy-influencing, developing practices in youth housing & supporting the local organizations and nonprofit organizations that build youth housing (NAL Apartments) and  produce social services for young people in need of stronger support (NAL Services).

At the end of the afternoon seminar all quests will be welcome to join NAL to raise a glass and enjoy small snacks. This cocktail event will be a perfect occasion to discuss the themes of the event and get to know NAL personnel and other quests.
