Event description:
Big or small, new or old, housing cooperatives in different forms are to be found in every corner of the world and they offer affordable and people-centred housing solutions in many different contexts.
What different models of housing cooperatives exist in Europe and in neighbouring Mediterranean countries? What are the success factors and how can they be replicated? and most important how can the institutional setting facilitate the spread of cooperative housing?
The Union for the Mediterranean and Housing Europe are joining forces to try to come up together with answers to these and other questions at a workshop to be held in the framework of the International Social Housing Festival.
