For visitors who attend the Seminar “Renovation processes through the decades: two actors, different methods, satisfied residents” and anyone who is interested in the renovated historical sites of Käpylä.

A walking tour of three destinations, (approx. 4 km)

Starting point address: Pohjolankatu 47, 00600 Helsinki (https://www.hekaoy.fi/en/apartments/locations/pohjolankatu-47). The two-phase renovation of the apartment buildings built in the 1950s was carried out in cooperation with The Finnish Heritage Agency.

Second destination: Pellervontie and Pohjolankatu, historic and interesting wooden houses in Puu-Käpylä.

Third destination: Mäkelänkatu 86, an apartment building called the Serpentine House, which won the Docomomo Rehabilitation Award 2021.
